Solar Village SDG is dedicated to promoting sustainable development goals in underprivileged communities in Sri Lanka. We aim to provide access to clean and renewable energy, improve living conditions, and empower the local communities.
​We are launching an educational program in 2025 to provide remote English language classes for schoolchildren in rural schools.

Community Impact
Solar Village SDG is a newly established community interest company. We will seek collaborations and partnerships with other organisations which have a proven and established track record of supporting community development projects to expand the solar village concept rapidly.

Solar Village Projects

​The projects below have been completed by a network of friends and colleagues based on the Solar Village concept designed and supervised by Professor Dharmadasa.
We invite you to collaborate with Solar Village SDG cic to expand the solar village concept rapidly to make Sri Lanka a self-sufficient, renewable energy island illuminating every home, school, hospital and business with clean, green, renewable energy.
